Maximizing voyage profitability is the objective function of the Optimizer, where the port pair, equipment type, and weight is selected from list of port pairs, with the aim of maximizing profitability. The lower and upper bound TEU’s / weight ensures that contract commitments of the customers are complied.
Optimizer ensures that vessel is utilized to the maximum in TEU’s rather than weight, by ensuring that empty container surplus and deficits are balanced, by moving the empties from surplus to deficit location with minimum repositioning cost.
Ability to dynamically plan during disruption, such as vessel break down, dry dock, port / channel maintenance periods. This ensures that the demand is satisfied on a timely basis and ensures vessel re-routing / assigning new vessels to the disrupted service has minimal impact and minimum cost
